What made this project specific
The opening needed insect protection and daily-use comfort without turning the garage/outbuilding into a permanent enclosed room. The screen had to span a wide opening cleanly while preserving the open-air feel when raised.
EDG Approach
How the system was planned
EDG specified a motorized Progressive Screens Gen 4 residential insect screen with an outside-mount white textured frame, black screen fabric, and motorized operation for the wide opening. The page shows the screen closed, partway through travel, and open so homeowners can understand how the system behaves in real use.
Project Motion
Installation in motion
